High Five Phone Numbers and Art

 For math on Tuesday we began working on phone numbers!
We started off by matching magnetic numbers to the phone numbers on their card written down. After going over their individual numbers with them multiple times (so they know what each number is) I had them trace their number, again saying each number as they traced it.

To finish it off the students got to high 5 their phone numbers! 
Each student had their number on three separate hands taped to the wall. As they said each section of numbers (area code, 3 numbers, 4 numbers) they gave that hand a high 5. We will continue this activity throughout the month and then send them home for each child to continue working on it :)






For art we did a "Full size me!"
We traced each kid in the class for this activity and then they got to color themselves.
