Math, more Math, and a little more fun on the side!!!

April has been so fun as the weather has started warming up, allowing the sun to shine in and letting us do more outside.

I realized this month that most of my pictures have been taken during math and sensory times, they were all just too fun not to share!

Here the boys are color sorting paper clips into their correct color bins.

This activity has been one of my favorites as the boys got to play and build with shapes on a mirror, and then sorting them as they put them back away, which was a last minute win-win for all!

As we learned about Easter this month we made an empty tomb at the beginning of the month and have enjoyed watching the grass grow on the hill. Next year we will definitely do this activity in a bigger bin though so we can play more with the dirt and make it a better hill :)

On another day we did coin rubbing where we glued pennies on a cross and then put a paper on top and rubbed with crayon to create a picture of the cross.

This activity was most definitely one of the boys favorites as they rolled a die to get pieces of a robot and watch it become the full robot in the end.

For some Gross Motor this month we played with our homemade bubbles!

To fit in with our Baby Animals and Spring theme the boys matched together baby animals with their mothers and then found each animals name to go with them.

And last, our science and sensory!
