Much has happened since St Patricks Day.
The theme in March was patience. To practice patience we put a timer on and patiently waited for it to go off. Every time the boys waited without eating their chocolate they got another piece. They both LOVED this activity and did amazing at waiting patiently to get more.
We used 4 leaf clovers and other green manipulatives in March to learn the number 4. We saw 4, counted 4 and felt 4 multiple times and ways.
Our March sensory was split peas, rainbow sticks and St Patricks day items mixed in.
Learning our numbers 1-6 we used a number dice to roll a number and put a coin on its match.
Some of our last activities for March included making clay rainbows and learning about music and rhythm, ending with creating rhythms and our own marching band!
