Finding "The Homegrown Preschooler"

After I said yes to teaching preschool, I had no idea where to even begin and it was overwhelming! After all, I was used to being handed a curriculum or topic as a base for any given lesson, not starting from ground zero.

I am blessed to have such a sweet sister who took me to a homeschool convention in Washington, which would lead me to "The Homegrown Preschooler" and the foundation for my preschool. Kathy was so patient with me at the convention as she listened to my hundreds of questions, answered each one, and still waited hours for me to decide with absolute surety it was the best preschool curriculum I would ever find. This curriculum encircles all of my believes and has been so much fun to read and learn by. The kids LOVE it as well!! It is active and focus' on learning in kids own environment which fit my home-based preschool perfectly! I have not once regretted this decision and I love it even more now than I did then!
