It was never my plan to teach preschool. It just sort of happened. It began with a simple conversation with a friend on what we were going to do with our two boys for preschool and somehow ended with how she would be more than happy to send her boy my way for me to teach.
I was shocked at first. I got my degree in Elementary Education but I had never taught preschool before and it kind of scared me to think of it. I made sure this was clear to her but she still had faith in me I could not yet see in myself. After much thought and prayer I decided it would be in the best interest for both of us if I did teach our two boys.
What started as a simple conversation has now changed my life. We added one more little boy in the mix and I could not be happier with the three little amigos in my preschool group. I am learning so much this year and have most definitely found a new respect for preschool teachers!
I look forward to sharing our many adventures this year as we learn and grow together.
