The kids have loved playing this game throughout the month. To play, they had to count the number of items on the first flipped card and then find the corresponding number to go with it.

December 19th

With winter here it is more difficult for birds to find food. The kids showed kindness this month by making a bird feeder for them.

Building a balance beam

The kids started getting creative in building their balance beam by adding another kind of block to different sides!

Today!

December 21st

Today we had a blast making ornaments, reading "Room for a little one" and making Jesus' manger, and having a dance party before Christmas break!

Here are the instructions I used to make the ornaments, it was perfect and they turned out AMAZING!!

December beginnings

Dec 5th 

Our theme for December is Christmas and our Character trait is Kindness, and so to begin our month we read "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and began our kindness advent calendar countdown!

For math we made and counted our christmas chains.

and then decorated our very own christmas tree!

Dec 7 we made christmas words with foam letters, played in goop and counted cranberries!

Yesterday we had a blast writing Christmas cards, building with blocks, playing our gingerbread dice game and painting a stain glass window on our back door's window!
